But we can give to society the best that we havein human understanding, love, fellowship, and a willingness to help andbe of service to others. In so doing we will be opening up new territoriesfor settlement, and will build more happy and prosperous lives. Give alittle of yourself each day and both you and those about you will THE UPLIFT AROUND THE CAMPUS Our Superintendent, Mr. J. FrankScott, attended the National Confer-ence of Superintendents which washeld in New York City from Febru-ary 22 to February 26. This annualconference offers an opportunity forthe superintendents to hear new ideas,discuss mutual problems, and learnwhat is happening in this field onthe national level. —0OOO0— Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Mullis arespending a week of vacation on Flo-ridas sunny shores where they aredoing some fishing and relaxing. —0OOO0— We are happy to report that theinfluenza epidemic which swept ourcampus last month has subsided. Ittouched almost half of the boys onthe campus and a third of the staffmembers. We were glad it was a mildtype of influenza germ and eventhough it made us pretty sick fortwo or three days, it was not serious. —0OOO0— Cottage No. 2 and 3 have recentlymoved back into their newly renovatedbuildings. The boys and cottageparents are enjoying the improvedfacilities
