West Sussex, England. – A woman, believed to be a relative of the Henty family, is posing for a photograph in the gardens in front of Ferring Grange, in Ferring, a coastal village in West Sussex. This estate was the home of Edwin Henty, , , (1844 – 1916), who had served as High Sheriff of Sussex. In 1924, the house was converted into a fashionable hotel, which was visited by many celebrities including Edward, the Prince of Wales (later known as the Duke of Windsor). The house was destroyed by fire in October 1946.
