Tho original typo has tiie head longer, the snout much lon^i r and pointed, tho mouth hirtjor, the maxillary longer and loss oblique, tho eye somewhat laijriT, aud the top of tho head more Hat than in Lmicuickk Hnealiig. {Scales 12-63-7 is the most usual number in the Snake Biver Basin.
