Black, shining, coarsely and deeply punctured, the punctures often contiguous and confluent on the elytra; a few punctulations which are sometimes wanting occurring between the punctures; sparsely covered with a light gray or fulvous pubescence; thorax with a lateral band of dense fulvous or yellowish gray hairs; elytra.
