I sometimes suffer from a strange delusion; looking down into water often reminds me of starry nights or galactic vistas. Take this view, for instance - It's actually looking downwards into a stagnant patch of the River Thames by St Helen's Wharf, with sun reflections helping the stellar illusion. But then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping. I hope you like it!
