Enzalutamide drug, molecular model. Enzalutamide is a drug used in the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer. It is an experimental androgen receptor antagonist that works by binding to androgen receptors more strongly than other drugs such as the anti-androgen drug bicalutamide. It has been approved in the USA since 2012. The molecular formula is: Atoms (spheres) are colour-coded: carbon (light grey), hydrogen (white), fluorine (green), nitrogen (blue), oxygen (red), and sulphur (yellow).
