Head black, the palpi at base and lines round eyes white ; thorax black with dorsal and subdorsal white streaks ; femora with tufts of orange hair and orange bands, tibise witb some orange scales ; abdomen black with the dorsal crest and anal tuft dark orange. Fore wing black, a short white fascia below costa towards base, a wedge-shaped patch below basal half of cell, an obliijue patch below middle of cell and a streak above medial part of inner margin; a semicircular orange spot in middle of cell and a bar- shaped mark on discocellularSj its extremities rather dilated on.
