Grave of Henry BARRICK , noted Ship builder (Henry & George Barrick shipyard) at Whitby, North Yorkshire (Parish Church graveyard, Whitby) as it was in 2005. Their shipyard situated at what is now Dock End, Whitby . The gravestone, now badly eroded by wind and time, stands close to the side entrance of the graveyard, with WhitbyAbbey behind it. The inscription reads " In memory of Henry Barrick , Ship Builder, who died the 27th May 1797 aged 40 years. Also Thomas his son who died in infancy.
