Mina'i Bowl with Abstract Pattern second half 12th–early 13th century Some objects glazed with the mina'i technique bear nonfigural decoration. The design on this bowl consists entirely of an abstract repeat pattern. Because of the painterly quality with which it is executed, this pattern looks something like mosaic glass. On the exterior, an inscription in Arabic bears good wishes to its Mina'i Bowl with Abstract Pattern 446204
