A Kashmiri demonstrator throws a wooden log towards an Indian policeman during clashes on the outskirts of Srinagar, Indian administered Kashmir. Four militants, a policeman and a civilian were killed during a gun battle in south Kashmir. The encounter started on Friday morning after government forces received intelligence input about the presence of militants. Dozens of civilians were injured during the protests at different protest sites in nearby areas of the encounter spot. The forces, they said, responded by firing live ammunition, pellets and tear gas. Meanwhile, Authorities have suspended mobile Internet services in Srinagar and four districts of South Kashmir.
