Eastern-Bengal province. of the Arabian Sea and to the head of the Persian Gulf, and contains throughout a curious mixture of Palaearctic and Indian forms with a prevalence of desert types of animals and plants. Its approximate limits to the westward coincide with those of Oazella Bennetti^ and are shown in a little map published in the ' Proceedings of the Zoological Society' *. * 1873, p. 314.
