A princely table centrepiece, Humbert & Sohn, Berlin, circa 1850 Silver, made in two pieces. Richly decorated with raised, embossed and chiselled flower, leaf, volute, and rocaille ornamentation. The obverse is engraved with a cartouche bearing the monogram "PC" below a prince's crown. The base is crafted en suite and has the master's mark, "Humbert & Sohn" and the Berlin bear mark along with the inspection mark "C". Height cm. Weight ca. 2500 g.
