NORFOLK (December 1, 2021) Sailors remove mooring lines, attached to Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), from the pier. USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) departs Naval Station Norfolk as part of Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group’s (HSTCSG) deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts. The USS San Jacinto (CG 56), USS Cole (DDG 67), USS Bainbridge (DDG 96), USS Gravely (DDG 107), USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) and HNoMS Fridtjof Nansen (F310) will support maritime security operations along with other coalition maritime forces.
