Upper part of Terracotta tomb of Lady Margaret Bedingfield in the Bedingfield Chapel adjoining church of the Evangelist, Oxborough, Norfolk


This tomb and that of her husband Sir Edmund Bedingfield constructed over the years 1525 -1550 together represent the most extensive use of terracotta in an English church. The terracotta was limewashed after the Reformation.
