The SpaceX Falcon 9 first stage reusable rocket lights up the night sky as it descends to land at Vandenberg Air Force Base October 7, 2018 near Lompoc, California. The rocket carried the Argentine SAOCOM 1A satellite into orbit and then completed the first land based return on the west coast creating a light show in the process for Southern Californians.
