DREER 714-716 Chestnut St., PHILADELPHIA, PA. ized with headquarters at Wendell, Idaho, and membership limited to bona fide seed growers in the Snake river valley. The jiresident of tlie associa- tion is Charles A. Samuelson, who spent thirty years in the retail florists' busi- ness at Chicago. The secretary and treasurer is H. D. Jackson. The pur- pose of the organization 'is to build a reputation for seeds of such unusual quality that its brand will be good for an extra price wherever seen. The Snake river valley has proved well adapted to alfalfa and clover, climatic conditions resulting in a heavy yield of seed of high germination. The new association plans to inspect each mem- ber's crop as it grows and to market only such seed as comes up to the high- est standards. The new annual sweet clover will be grown this year for trial. CATAIiOGUES RECEIVED.
