Army Spc. Nicholas Mitchum, an information technology specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, III Armored Corps, performs a pull-up as part of an obstacle course in Alvin, Texas, Nov. 10, 2022. Mitchum participated in the first race on the new course as part of a dedication ceremony for Veterans Day. Mitchum graduated from Alvin High School in 2020 and joined the Army later that year on October 27.
