Mrs. Sarah Martin Longacre Garrettwas born in Chester County, Pa., and some-what later attended the Phcenixville she studied nursing and is agraduate nurse. She is a Friend to manand consequently her favorite amusementis pleasing others. Her first impressionsof the Freshman year were terrible, butshe got married in the second year andhas been happy ever afterward. Mrs. Gar-rett expects to take post-graduate workand practice in Philadelphia. Associatemember of Y. W. C. Agnes Hockaday. 63 In the world of dreams, I liave chosen mypart. Emilie C. Jamison was born in Harts-ville, Pa., but lives now in Philadelphiamost of the time. Jimmie has deep, darkeyes that are dreamy and seem to say,Persuade the world to trouble me nomore. Jimmie used to attend the GirlsHigh School of Philadelphia and the Phila-delphia Normal School for Girls when shewas not riding her horse and tramping inthe fields and woods. She is very ambi-tious and spends her Summer months andother odd moments studying Psychologyand related subjects at U. of P. When she came to W. M. C. she wasimpressed with the stupendoiisness ofAnatomy and wondered how in the courseof events one human mind could ever con-tain the material of the great GraysAnatomy; and probably is still favorite study is Obstetrics. She ex-pects to take an interneship and practicein Philadelphia. Member of Y. W. C. A.
