Japanese Double White Hardy Aster This came to us unnamed from a Japanese nurseryman, and is entirely distinct from all other hardy Asters; the plants are of symmetrical habit, and grow about 2 feet high, and bear from July to September double white flowers not unlike the double white Feverfew. 35 cts. each; $ per doz. Fall-flowering- Hardy Asters (Michaelmas Daisies, or Starworts) These are among the showiest of our late-flowering hardy plants, giving a wealth of bloom during September and October, a season when most other hardy flowers are past, and for the best effect should be planted in masses of one color. They grow freely in any soil. The collec- tion offered below is made up of the choicest varieties. Barr's Pink. This is of the Novae angliae type, a strong, vigorous grower forming shapely plants from four to five feet high the finest bright pink. Blue Gem. One of the most decorative free-flowering rich blue varieties, probably the nearest approach to . a true blue. 3 feet. Capitaine. Light lavender blue; 4 to 4| feet. Chaterham Gem.
