The line of fracture runs obliquelyfrom the outer ridge of the humerusabove the epicondyle downward andinward into the joint, ending usually inthe groove of the trochlea, coinciding inpart at least with the epiphyseal line sothat the fragment comprises the capitel-lum, the outer portion of the trochlea,and perhaps the epicondyle.
