The bathing hour commences about elevenoclock and extends to about one oclock, and thebeach is adjacent to the Breakers Hotel. A verybeautiful beach it is, not extraordinarily broad, butformed of very white and glistening sand. Indeedthe glare here from the tropic sun and this whitesand is very trying at first. A Palm Beach institu-tion is the line of chairs which extends along thebeach. These are nothing more or less than com-fortable camp chairs with canopies and can berented at the rate of ten cents an hour so that onemay sit comfortably and watch the bathers at hisease.
