Beautifully carved & detailed female effigy of c. 1370 on S side of the chancel of Stackpole Elidor church, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. Possibly a later monument (the tomb chest is earlier than the effigy) to Lady Elspeth, wife of Elidor de Stackpole who founded the church in the C12th. Recumbent, head supported by pillows, attended by angels/supporters (two at her head, two at her feet), hands folded in prayer. Headdress & a tight-fitting long-sleeved gown or kirtle.
