A bowl of fish stew featuring pollack, Pollachius pollachius, and squid, loligo vulgaris. Both caught on rod and line in the English Channel. They have been stewed with onions, olive oil, lemon zest and juice, saffron, bay leaves, black pepper, white wine, chopped tomatoes, chillies and wild garlic, Allium ursinum, foraged in woodlands and bronze fennel fronds, Foeniculum vulgare purpureum, from a plant found growing near a footpath. The stew is garnished with bronze fennel fronds and edible wild garlic flowers. Dorset England UK GB.
