A little later, in response to a general demand,the department of Home Economics was added. The school rapidly expandedand many new professors, instructors, and assistants were secured to meet thedemands for additional instruction. At present the Schnol of Science provides introductory and advancedcourses of instruction in the sciences—Biology, Chemistry, Physics—and inother subjects essential to a broad scientific education, such as Drawing, Eco-nomics, English, French, Human Physiology, German, History, Mathematics,Home Economics, and Art.
