The Dynamo Illuminations are spinning, twisting changing colourful lights, sponsored by Eviivo. The White Tower Pleasure Beach Casino, in the left background of the shot, is a Grade 2 reinforced concrete listed building, dating to 1937-40 and designed in the International Modern Style by Joseph Emberton for Leonard Thompson, owner of the Pleasure Beach. Despite its name the Casino, rather than gambling, houses a restaurant and other catering facilities. A view south along the Central Promenade towards the Pleasure Beach Casino 'Big One Rollercoaster' at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
