They are conveniently distributed forconvenience of access to the work, and also for daylight light-ing, the majority of them being in close proximity to delivering work from thetools, an overhead track is providedfor a traveling air hoist, which isthus easily moved to any part of theshop. The overhead track consistsof a 6-in. I-beam, suspended uponhangers to about 4 ft. beneath theroof beams, and is arranged to coverall important parts of the shop, asshown in the floor plan drawing, therunway being shown in dotted lines;from over the north elevated track itswings around and divides into threebranches, one covering the lathes andshaper, the middle one leading
