A male Golden Mantled Howler Monkey (Alouatta palliata palliata) scatches it's head.

Adult male mantled howlers (Alouatta palliata) are one of the largest Central American monkeys. They can weight up to ca. 10kg. The male mantled howler has a hollow bone near the vocal cords, which amplifies the calls made by it.
