The photograph is of the Franz Senn Hut in the Stubai Alps of the Austrian Tyrol. The hut is named after the local priest Franz Senn who is credited with establishing the Austria, German and South Tyrol Alpine Club's in 1867. He died prematurely of pneumonia in 1884 aged 52.
