Restored Patio Hackesche Höfe by night, Rosenthaler Strasse, Berlin, Germany, Europe


This patio of Rosenthaler Strasse is the most beautiful at architectonic view. Hackesche Höfe were constructed in 1906 by August Endell. It is especially interesting because of its glass facade in art nouveau style and because of tis size. With m² it belongs to the biggest house yard of Europe. This type of patios were typical for the industrial area at 19th and the beginning of 20th century in Berlin, they were used like living and business areas. 1991 Hackesche Höfe have been restored.
