Troops from the 49th Infantry, mostly consisting of New York state draft contingents, disembarking from the White Star liner Belgic at Hoboken, New Jersey. The ship arrived from Brest, France, with a total of 3,188 troops. This photograph was taken on January 16, 1919, and was approved by the Military Intelligence Division censor on January 30, 1919.
