The movie night event is a weekly event hosted by service members of the 414th and 489th Civil Affairs Companies, CJTF-HOA. Service members from Camp Lemonier volunteer their time to interact with community members in an effort to establish relationships within the local communities. The service members of CJTF-HOA, headquartered in Djibouti, employ an indirect approach to counter violent extremism. Through a strategy of cooperative conflict prevention the task force helps build the internal capacities of countries at risk to prevail against extremists exploiting instability. Technical Sgt.
