Funeral ceremony for Private Wilkerson, a Signal Corps man of the 42nd Division, who was the first to be killed in action. The body is being brought up with Father Frank P. Duffy officiating. The ceremony took place in Croismare, France on March 19, 1918. The photograph was censored and released on May 31, 1918.
