Museum of Art and History and war memorial, Cognac, Charente, France

The war memorial of the 1914-1918 war was built in 1921 and 1922, under the direction of the Parisian architect Victor Auguste Blavette. The group was sculpted by the Parisian sculptor Albert Bartholomé, signed: Breton Cie La Rochefoucauld Charente, A. Bartholomew. The monument has been moved from the museum courtyard (48 Denfert-Rochereau Avenue) to the edge of the Parkway. During his transfer, the sword has disappeared.
