Low Laithes Farm part of the Hesley A thirty bed residential village at Low Laithes farm near Barnsley for adults with special needs and learning difficulties. It involves the refurbishment of existing farm buildings with sympathetic custom built new accommodation and bespoke facilities catering for the special needs of the residents. The Low Laithes complex also has houses flats bungalows a café shop bank hairdressers kitchen as well as specially built workshops and rooms in which the residents can learn vocational skills and undertake hobbies and interests. It is a few minutes walk from the Low Laithes village which gives a range of social educational and occupational opportunities. The old farm house forms the administration block.
