Part of Crasswell Street, in Portsmouth, has been sealed off while forensic officers conduct their enquiries. The discovery of the dead man was made early this morning, a police spokesman has confirmed. He added: ‘Shortly before 7am on Saturday, October 3, police were called to Crasswell Street, Portsmouth after a body of a man was found on the pavement. ‘Inquiries have begun to determine the cause and to identify the deceased man. ‘He is believed to be in his late 40s.
