The correspondence has grown innnensely. The files of the last twoyears equal those of the preceding four years. Those for 1887 num-ber 819. Recent legislation has added much to the duties of the Inspector—attending Division Court Boards, etc. Two Clerks are kept fully employed in the office work of the Depart-ment. 16 51 Victoria.
