A Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft assigned to Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron (VMX) 22 transports distinguished visitors and guests from Uruguay and prepares to land aboard the newly commissioned amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in the Atlantic Ocean Aug. 13, 2014. The America embarked on a mission to conduct training engagements with partner nations throughout the Americas before reporting to its new home port of San Diego. The America was set to be ceremoniously commissioned Oct. 11, 2014.
