MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Dec. 5, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class John Kroboth tracks surface contacts from the bridge of the guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) as it transits the Mediterranean Sea. Porter, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
