Converging walls startfrom the point of curve, but lose themselves aft-er running 300 feet, without meeting. Just be-yond, on the plain, are two clay mounds, also asmall circle 100 feet in diameter. The remain-ing parallel starts nearly from the centre of thenortheastern wall of the main work, and is inall respects similar to that just described, exceptin the mode of its termination, which can onlybe explained by the plan.
