Bckliardt ^^ and Pomorski ^^ called them endotheliomatato indicate tlieir origin from the endothelium of the lymphatic spacesor capillaries, or even of the capillary blood-vessels (Eckhardt). They were able to follow step by step on the one hand the transfor-mation of the connective-tissue elements into epithelioid cells, on theother the abundant proliferation of the endothelium of the lymphaticspaces of the connective tissue. This neoplasm is therefore a mixedvariety, and shares the structure of tumors of connective-tissue origin.
