Harris Jr., Ohio adjutant general, presents a gift to Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić as Serbian Ambassador to the Djerdj Matković looks on, Jan. 28, 2019, at the Ohio National Guard Joint Force Headquarters located at the Maj. Gen. Robert S. Beightler Armory in Columbus, Ohio. Ohio and Serbia have partnered since 2006 under the State Partnership Program (SPP), managed by the National Guard Bureau. The goal of the SPP is to link a state’s National Guard with a partner country to promote regional stability and develop civil and military relationships.
