This is a tool in which a tube is arranged to be fed through a conducting sleeve and has opposite openings through which are fed cutters a tapering expanding device working between the shanks of the cutters. The tool may be loosened within the tube and its cutting edges may be brought into greater or lees contact with the inner surface not only for the purpose of removing the scale but to the extent if de sired of removing a shaving of metal from the interior of the tube.
