Cubist sculpture on the Adria Palace building Prague Czech Republic Europe

The Adria Palace was built between 1922 and 1925 and was designed by Pavel Janak in collaboration with Josef Zasche. It is built in a modernist style with a cubist facade and some elements of rondo-cubism, a style unique to Prague. The famous Laterna Magika Theatre was established there in 1959 and the building was one of the centres of the "velvet revolution" in 1989.
