The Phillips Manufacturing Company has secured land in Jersey City, where they will erect a factory in the immediate future. W. S. Allen is about to move to a new location at 5;; West Twenty-eighth 'Street, over Bradshaw's wholesale place. M. A. Hart will remove on May 1 to the store No. 48 West Thirtieth street, lately occupied by Brinley & Co. A. Herrmann sailed on the Barbarosa Thursday, April 25, for Bremen. He will be gone about two months. Julius Lang is receiving heavy ship- ments of Campbell violets of exceptional , quality. Sander & Co.'s orchid sale at Cleary's last week was a big success. C. W.
