Thepaper had two floors of the building, withoffice space sufficient for all the work necessaryat that time. Issue Number Forty-fourappeared from the office which was the finalhome of The Stars and Stripes in France,at 32 Rue Taitbout, over the offices of theAmerican Chamber of Commerce. Thesequarters were the most commodious everoccupied, and were made necessary by therapid growth of the paper. All of the spacewas on one floor which made liaison betweenthe different departments
