Several were seen walking along Broad Street’s infamous nightlife strip in work party groups. One bunch of ladies wore Christmas fancy dress including a turkey, sprout, the North Star and several reindeers. Others were spotted wearing snowman, a present and elf outfits along New Street in the city centre. Hundreds also packed into the Frankfurt Market on Victoria Square. Despite the freezing fog and sub-zero temperatures, some partygoers still skimped on clothing but many did decide to take a coat with them to keep warm whilst walking to and from the city centre venues.
