Artist/engraver/cartographer: Unsigned. Provenance: “County of London Plan”; by Forshaw & Patrick Abercrombe, Published by Macmillan and Co. Limited, London. Type: Vintage photographic book print. Originally built in Hyde Park to house the Great Exhibition of 1851, it contained more glass than any previous building. It boasted 92,000 square metres of exhibition space and was 564 m long. It was moved to Sydenham in 1854, and destroyed by fire in 1936.
