An ordnanceman from H&MS-15 attaches the fin assembly to a 500-pound MK-82 bomb in June 1972. These bombs were used in strikes flown by Marine Phantoms of Marine Aircraft Group 15 during the Vietnam War. Once the fins were attached and the bombs were prepared, they were loaded onto trucks for delivery to the flight line. This photo shows the bombs being lifted onto an aircraft.
