Community activist Fikile Ntshangase was shot and killed by unknown gunmen at her home in Ophondweni in Somkhele in KwaZuluNatal. She was a member of the Mfolozi Community Community Environmental Organisation which is involved in a legal battle against coal mining company Tendele Coal.
