DROMORE, NORTHERN IRELAND: THIS SCHOOL was left abandoned with unfinished paintings from past pupils as happy school-day memories have been left to be image captured a welcome sign that looks hand painted by past students, but now the name of the school has eerily disappeared. Another image shows the gymnasium that would have been filled with laughter and childhood memories but has now been left abandoned. Software Developer Mark Fulton (27) from Moira, Northern Ireland explored the abandoned building of Dromore Central Primary School in Dromore, County Down, Northern Ireland. The Primary School building has been abandoned since 2016 when the building couldn?t cope with the numbers of pupils, before they were moved to a new building. The building has been abandoned since 2016, but in April 2023 the Education Authority released a statement that they planned to make use of the site for a ?special school or other specialist educational provision?. This comes as a welcomed statement as local politicians and community representatives have been campaigning for years for the Educational Authority to make use of the area. When Mark had explored the building, he found that childhood memories of students from the past had been left behind, such as unfinished paintings. The exploration brought up fond memories for Mark, as he recalled how the building made him remember his own school days due to the building being left with so many school supplies. Part of the building still made Mark feel slightly uneasy however, as he explored the entire bottom floor in darkness as it was sealed off from everything else, and thought the echoes of the assembly hall were eerie. ?The assembly hall is the most memorable due to the echoes it produces just walking around inside,? he said. ?Old art projects from the students and desks with things the kids wrote on them. ?The entire bottom floor is entirely sealed off so it's in complete dar
